Diamond Amie Alvarez

She was shot 22 times by her boyfriend, as she was walking her dog. The judge then let him out on a pre-trial ankle monitor, after they admitted to Fox 26 they don't actively monitor them.  If they did actively monitor them, we'd know where AJ is.

Diamond was a 16-year-old girl who her family described as funny, care-free, and beautiful.  She loved her family.  She had her whole life ahead of her.  While walking her dog, just a couple of blocks from her home, she was shot by her ex-boyfriend and left for dead by the side of the road for her mother to find.

Her family has to pass the spot where her life was taken every day on their way home and pass the home where there daughter's killer gets to move freely in.

The judge decided that since it was his first crime that they would give him bond and let him out on the same ankle monitor that AJ was given, knowing they're not actively monitored.  He's already violated his bond once and was let back out.
